On January 18, 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., WTJU 91.1 FM will host a peek into our broadcast studios. This event is FREE. Intended for ages 4-8.

Sure, you take your kids on playdates… but have they been on a playdate at a community radio station?
On January 18, 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., WTJU 91.1 FM will host a peek into our broadcast studios. This event is FREE.
Kids get to play with sound equipment (off-air, of course) and learn about recording, replay, and radio tools. And they can meet some friendly WTJU DJs.
At 10 a.m., we'll gather at the station before having a radio-themed story time at 10:10 a.m. Afterward, MIMA music-making at the stage and audio recording fun in the studio will each take place twice (10:30 & 11:00).
You’ll go home with a goody bag, coloring pages, and the experience of a real-life radio station!
We’re looking forward to introducing your kids to radio magic!

Note: Your answer to the photo release does NOT affect your ability to participate in Family Radio Day. WTJU expects parents or guardians to provide supervision over minors on WTJU property during this event. Parents or guardians should not leave minors unsupervised on WTJU property.
